Empla provides software tools to support location expansion decisions for brick-and-mortar businesses. Features may include market analysis workflows, opportunity zone identification, shortlist generation, and related reporting. We may update, improve, or discontinue features over time.
2. Account Use and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use Empla only for lawful business purposes.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service availability, or use Empla to violate applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
4. Data and Confidentiality
You retain ownership of your business data. By using Empla, you grant us the rights necessary to process your data to provide and improve the service. We handle customer information in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
5. Intellectual Property
All platform content, software, branding, and related intellectual property are owned by Empla or its licensors. Except where explicitly permitted, you may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of the service.
6. Fees and Billing
If you are on a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees under your subscription terms. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable.
7. Warranties and Disclaimer
Empla is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empla will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons. You may stop using Empla at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on this page with the effective date. Continued use of Empla after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction specified in your commercial agreement with Empla, or otherwise by local law where Empla is registered.
